Anyone else pre-order the Orange Box? Can't fkn wait for the beta to come out on the 17th!

Anyone else got antsy in their pantsy for TF2? :flipoff2:

Umm, wow.

Guess none of you have played many games outside of BF2. Team Fortress 2 is the long awaited sequeal to Team Fortress Classic. TF2 is based on the HL2 engine, but has no other ties to it.

Guess I won't bother telling everyone I will be running a server. :shrug:

this isnt out yet. I remember seeing a vid for it a long time ago.

If you pre-load the orange box you can play the beta on the 17th. Full release date is sometime in October. I know this mang!

I'm a little peeved that Valve is making everyone who already bought hl2 buy it again in order to get the new games. I never liked the original tf, but I'll probably pick it up to continue the HL2 story, and portal looks like it will be pretty fun.

BTW, for those of you that never played HL2, this is a great package to pick it up in. I would say it is defiantely in the top 3 or so all time best FPSs.

That is for the Orange Box set. You can buy TF2 and Portal seperatly along with HL2:E2. They are also allowing you to "gift" some of the titles if you already have them on Steam.

Yea, I'm just not a big fan of Steam in general. They can take that technology and cram it in a dark, warm place.

Ehh, it is different. I must admit it has some a long way from when it was first released. I was not to hot on it back then. But for the most part right now I don't have any complaints. Other then the 3 hours I had to wait to download S.T.A.L.K.E.R. :(
