The BlueRibbon Coalition needs you to vote on some important changes to the BlueRibbon Coalition Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation. We also would like your participation in the vote for who you would like representing you on the Board of Directors. See the notice below for more information.
We've made it very easy for you on our website at www.sharetrails.org. Just click on the "BRC Members Vote Now" button in the upper right hand corner of the home page. All you need is to do is step through the simple process. It should only take a few minutes of your time and it is important that you vote. This is your opportunity to have your vote make a difference in the BlueRibbon Coalition.
NOTICE TO BRC MEMBERSHIP
In accordance with the Idaho Nonprofit Corporation Act, BlueRibbon Coalition, Inc. hereby provides notice that the members of BlueRibbon Coalition will, at the annual meeting of the Corporation to be conducted on September 29, 2007, be asked to consider and vote upon proposed amendments to the Restated Articles of Incorporation as well as the Bylaws of the Corporation. The amendments may be summarized as modifying the "purpose" language of each document, changing the number of Board members, creating a term limit for the office of President, modifying the configuration and procedures of the Executive Committee, modifying the provisions addressing member meeting notice and quorum, modifying the provisions addressing amendment of the Bylaws, and updating the provisions addressing location of the Corporate offices and identity of registered agent, all of which are intended to accurately describe current operations of the Corporation, to increase the transparency, efficiency and professionalism of the Corporation, and to support broader activities designed to protect recreational access in the evolving legal, political and public affairs arenas.
The BlueRibbon Coalition Board of Directors has set a record date of September 17, 2007, for the vote. BlueRibbon members as of September 17, 2007, will be entitled to vote on the proposed amendments.
