Cracked Grains...

I bought some grains last Saturday at THBS and couldn't get to brewing. But will be able to this Sunday. Will the grains be toast? Should I get new ones instead?

they're fine, a week is not a problem.

Two weeks. Three weeks. Even a month is not a problem, so long as the grains aren't stored in an excessively humid place. No sweat at all on one week.

Thanks! I think they were ok, I tasted them before I mashed and they seemed fine.

2 days of active fermenetation too, so I feel a lot better about it.
