I?m in the tech center so close = good but not a necessity. Looking to get rid of my H2 and get a new 4 door JK rubi. I hate medved with a passion so who else is a good steelership?

I used to work at Lithia on Arapahoe, look for a big guy by the name of Mark Davis, he'll take care of ya.

Actually, Bigger than Big Dave Davis's last day was last week. I'll try to do my best to help you even though i'm not in sales any more.

Sure did! He's happy as a pig in poop up in Silverthorne now. I hear he's doing a lot better up there.

ditto on seeing Kenny @ Lithia...

.we were seriously considering a Grand SRT8 for the wife and I blindly stopped in at Lithia. The random sales dood kinda dropped the ball and left me stranded as I left the dealership with no means of follow up for the transaction. Even though he's not in sales, Kenny found out and a manager called me immediately willing to jump through hoops to earn my business.
I'll also say, they shot a bottom-line reasonable price without having to haggle that at least one other dealership (that had the right color) wouldn't match.
Cheers, Kenny

It's kind of far, but Pollard seems to know what jeeps are for.

Wow. Surprising after seeing all your awsome hummer videos from Moab and other places you wheel with your other hummer guys. what are they going to think? or have they switch over to Jeep already too?

Thanks for the kudos on the vids :)
?What are the other hummer guys going to think?. LOL, I wheeled an H2 for nearly 5 years, you think I really care what other people think ;) I had a blast in mine and wheel responsibly so that?s all the matters.
I?m the 4th person I know who has or is in the process of switching from H2 to JK. These are all people who ran H2s on Golden Spike and such but want to run harder trails and not break (as much). I could prolly get mine through Prichard but it would be a winchfest, so what?s the point?
My reasons (not that anyone prolly cares ;))
The H2 started costing me way too much money recently. The IFS can?t really handle the weight and I?ve replaced most of the components more than once now. I really don?t have the right sized garage to work on it myself (the darn thing won?t even fit in my garage) so even more $. Last time on GS I broke both lower control arms on double whammy and winchfested my way out the rest of the trail over the course of a few hours. In July, in 110 degree heat, and my AC comp broke, was not much fun.
I was thinking about an H1 but they cost $75K for a 04 with 10K a year maintenance or 30K for a 98 (best mechanical year) but 15K a year maintenance plus a trailer and a truck. I could prolly find the cash but the wife kinda won?t let me :tisk: :o
H3s. Well I need to be nice so I?ll just say they don?t do anything for me. One time we ran GS (love that trail) and the 2 H3s with us broke 3 diffs (yeah 3) and it took us something close to 20 hours before we got back to town.
Another big reason is size. On Colorado trails you don?t have much choice on line and just have to fit between the trees and see what happens. I got used to it, but the *****ers(trees) move at the last second and THEY hit me, a few times :D
So? Time for something new and I like the 4 door JKs and don?t want something old.
I?m planning on modding the JK a little from day one. Basically 4?/2? lift, 37s (I have almost new MT/Rs on my H2 that I?ll swap), gearing, bumpers, armor, and a few other things. The plan is to do it myself but we will see if that works ;)
Long post I guess. I've been on colo4x4 since 03 but lost my first user name when I forgot the password.
I like this forum so plan on being more active when I become a heeper. OMG, did I just type that

I will only buy from Jeremy Kimmel and Patrick Laurie now. They both work at Centennial Sales and Leasing. Both are members on the board here, J Kimmel and plaurie.
They helped us with our truck, which was used, but they do new stuff as well. Just don't know if they do trades.

The JK is a good choice.

Couldn't agree more. I was skeptical about the Centennial Sales & Leasing process before trying it, but I don't ever want to do it the old way again. The most stress-free car purchase I've ever made and a better price than I could've come up with. Just tell 'em what you want and they do all the work.

thanks guys :) we do our best to make it as easy as possible.
yes I can deal with trades in a few different ways, they aren't too difficult:)

Alec,
Lithia jeep on Arapahoe will do you right. They have the green jeep your looking for also, hard top even. Although I'm not sure its a rubicon?
