Is the Cripple Creek Rally dead?

Just wondering if anyone who is plugged in to the local biker scene knows what is going on with Cripple Creek? I've been to the Veterans ride the last two years but this year the info seems to show that the big veterans ride is in Winter Park? So is there still a rally in Cripple Creek or what? Odd that this happened, I had thought the rally folks got along great with the Cripple Creek people.

Same rally Different location. Don't think anything nis going on in cripple creek. Too bad I liked doing the ride, but I can't go to Winter Park to do it.

It wasn't the businesses or the people in Cripple Creek that didn't want the rally there... they loved it... brought in lots of money for them. I believe it had something to do with the politics, city council... they were against having them there for some reason or another.
