Trading 600rr for Supermoto

I'm seriously thinking about selling my CBR600RR and getting a supermoto for blasting around town (I only have a 7 mile commute) and ridin some twisties. I've only ever heard people saying that they have more fun on the supermoto than they did on their crotch rocket. I've been shopping around and am about to pull the trigger on settin up a deal. Anybody around here have any thoughts about it? I've ridden dirtbikes a bunch, but never a supermoto.

Some really pathetic ass knocked it over when I was at work...so far just parts is $1500...getting an official estimate on Monday for insurance. $2800 or more totals it.

Still riding it, but it sounds like crap cause the already loud exhaust now sports a hefty size dent.

Sorry to hear about your bike, Tiffster. What the hell is wrong with some people?! I'll take some pics and shoot you that info. Changed the oil tonight, adjusted the chain, and washed it up nice and purty. Going tomorrow after work to see about making arrangements to bring home a new 990 SuperDuke.

Yeah, shit happens. Just par for the course where I work though....homeless central so a lot of things get jacked with around there. We just got two new guys who ride so I am going to see if we can get the spot in front of our big window designated for the bikes.
